Mike was born in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. At a young age his interests in art helped pave a clear path to his life long career as an artist. Starting out as a graphic designer, one course at Illinois State University changed everything. This is where Mike completed his degree in glass blowing and sculpture. Much like design, glass is demanding. Mike has transitioned into this material with the same amount of focus and persistence as he did with his design work. He has taken it upon himself to become an educator of the material and teach high school kids how to create with glass. The path he has chosen is a true test to his ability as an artist and young educator. He now resides in Chicago with his Wife (Terie), son (Arlo) and cat (Angus).

Fiona pendantFiona is sassy and glassy and now you can take her anywhere
as a roly poly pendant.

Fashion Fiona out of molten glass in Neusole’s exclusive workshop. This 3 hour workshop begins with the basics. First, learn the fundamentals of flame working by making a simple hippo charm, decorated with the available color of your choice. Then watch the instructor create Fiona in glass as she explains the steps and helps you become more familiar with flame working techniques. Now its your turn! You will add expressive eyes, adorable ears and sturdy legs to your Fiona pendant, which we guarantee you will love to wear and display.

Neusole Glassworks will donate 20% of the proceeds from each class to the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden Conservation Fund to provide continued support for Fiona and her friends.

Each class size is limited to 2 students. Ages 12 and up. Pendant available for pick up in approximately 7 days. $150 per student.

Make an Elephant Pendant

The whole month of August. Helephant pendantello elephant lovers! This flameworked glass pendant/charm makes a great conversation piece, and is fun to wear.

Class lasts up to one hour. $30 per elephant. Ages 12 and over.

No experience needed. Approx. 1.5’’ width 1.5’’ height.

July is, well, HOT!

We will be closed to the public on July 4th, July 5th and weekends until July 20th. If you need to pick up an item that you have made you can do that Monday through Friday from 9-5. Starting Saturday, July 20th we will be open on the weekends from 9-5. Have a safe holiday!
