Hotshop (glassblowing) works with hot liquid glass. Depending on the class you take, you will either hot sculpt the liquid glass by gathering it at the end of a punty and shaping it using the tools provided by your instructor or you will gather the glass at the end of a punty and blow through it to create an item.

You will need to wear cotton and jeans. AVOID SPANDEX, POLYESTER, OR RELATED MATERIALS. A t-shirt is recommended. If you wear shorts, they need to be knee-length or capris. You also need to wear gym shoes and need to pull your hair back if it is long. Do not wear excessively long or dangly jewelry.

Your item will not be ready to take home with you that day. Most items will be ready in 7-10 days. After 7 days you may stop by to get your projects. You are more than welcome to call first to make sure they are done. When you come in to pick up your items, tell whomever is at the front desk what your first and last name is, what day you came in to take your class, and what project you made. He or she will get them for you.

These classes are available every day of the week.

These classes are NOT “sampler classes,” and there are no coupons, nor can any be used for them.

They are offered directly through Neusole.

Must be 5 years or older to use the hotshop.

(Please note: We can only hold your items for 90 days. If you do not pick your items within that time period they will be discarded. )
