Neusole Glassworks - Kickin Glass And Lovin It

A unique blend of art and contemporary society, John Schiff's Neusole Glassworks is here, creating an exciting new public access glass facility devoted to creating and promoting glass art. We are proud of the fact that we are the only hot-glass studio; capable of multiple techniques with glass, open to the public in Cincinnati. We not only create pieces for sale through our 2nd floor gallery and gift shop; we also offer custom glass design services and educational instruction in all of the techniques we use.

Holiday Ornament Intensive Flameworking Workshop

Thursday December 18^th

10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Fee: $100.00 plus $25.00 material cost

4 Slots Available

This workshop is for the intermediate level flameworker. Multiple designs will be taught in blown and solid sculpture using a torch and borosilicate glass. The student will learn to make classic ornaments such as icicles and teardrops as well as hollow ornaments. Experience shaping molten borosilicate glass into classic holiday favorites.

Fusing and Slumping Class

This class is for the student who is really interested in beginning fusing and slumping. Safety, suppliers, glass types and cutting methods will be taught along with assembly, preparation and firing. Projects will be of student’s choosing.

Time: 9 am to 12 pm

Day: Friday

Cost: $200.00 for four weeks

Classes start on November 14^th, 2008. Note: No classes will be held on Friday, November 28^th.
